Quaker Hill
Wilmington's oldest residential neighborhood, settled from the 1730s, centered on the 1816 Friends Meeting House. The abolitionist Thomas Garrett and John Dickinson, the Penman of the Revolution, rest nearby. The streets hold Georgian, Federal, and later stone rowhouses in a tight historic weave.
